President and Senior Project Manager
Malvine Gidorkis has been a project manager in educational publishing since initially starting out in the industry with South-Western Publishing/Cengage Learning as a Production Editor in 1989. As Senior Project Manager, Malvine has managed numerous legacy A-list Accounting and Econ titles, as well as physical sciences, geography, human development, criminal law, and statistics.
Malvine graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in English/Writing Emphasis from Waynesburg University in 1987.
Her skills include:
- Attention to detail, while managing overall developmental and production processes and resources, including writing, editing, composition, art creation, proofreading, and scheduling
Maintaining continuous and fruitful communications between publisher, authors and SMEs, freelancers, researchers, and comp/art/photo teams to instill conformity to quality standards and schedule needs
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, managing multiple simultaneous projects and often on same delivery milestone dates
Establishing and maintaining seamless and communicative working relationships with customers, colleagues, and freelancers to ensure all are working on the same page to achieve common defined goals
